I just sent you a contribution of $50 and let me tell you why. Many years ago I lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. There was a bar there I used to go to and one of the occasional patrons was a horribly disfigured man, I don't remember his name. But I do remember that he wanted to form a friendship with me, but I think I was afraid to be seen with him. After I became a bit more mature, I never forgave myself for not socializing with this guy. So maybe this contribution will help make up for that. Incidentally, I do also remember this guy was one of the most outgoing, self assured people I have ever met. James sounds quite a bit like him. Good luck with your surgery James, you can teach us all a lesson in life.

Good luck James! I have shopped at the safeway where he works for 8 years and i know what a great worker he is and not to mention that he is a big Seattle Seahawks fan. I always love it when I go in there and he is wearing his hawks gear. I am going to be sure and donate to this great cause. And thank you to the people putting all this together.

I'm so proud of everyone's big hearts. I know James personally and I can't wait for him to be in the recovery room.

However! I'm also a greenie and I think we're doing an amazing job, with internet and television, without having to print hundreds of flyers. I hope you can respect the environment in your efforts as well.

I just got back from Safeways and saw the sign at the register directing me to this site.

I have been shopping at James's store for years now, and he has always been quick, helpful, and friendly.

I am so happy that people are coming together to help him, and I can't wait to hear the news of his quick recovery. I know what it is like to be different.

Can anyone post any of the coverage on youtube? I want to do my part and send his story to as many people as I can.
