Today James sister from Idaho arrived. He brightened substantially to have her there. She should be able to stick around for a few days which is sure to keep his spirits high.
The doctors are going to try to take the tube out of his mouth tomorrow morning. This will be fantastic as James should be able to check out of the ICU then.

James, we miss you as Safeway...thank you for saying hi to my baby Joshua on Wednesday. I didn't realize it was the day before your surgery. We are praying for you.

James, I want you to know that I am thinking of you all day, everyday, and I hope you are starting to feel better. I cannot wait to see you and "Honey" together again. Everyone at Top Foods is waiting to bring you breakfast, lunch and dinner. I suggested "gruel" for breakfast...something to put the meat back on your body, a delectible fried "butterfly" for lunch (something light and filling) and then for dinner...ummm, how about some halibut cheeks (an Alaskan specialty) with a nice fried green tomato. My roommate, Beve, thinks I'm a few bricks short, but I know that whatever it is we can bring you, I will be thrilled to be a part of your recovery. I am here to say, that LOVE HEALS ALL.

Hi James.I am 55 years old and also suffer from NF.My tumors are all through my body but inside.I now use a walker or cane depending.Most people ask me why I can be so upbeat most of the time and I say,well I am not going to get better so may as well be a happy girl in pain...lol... I only found out in 1999 that I have it.I was adopted so? I will add you to my prayer list my friend and will come back in here and check on your recovery.Take care and God Bless!!!
