$71,215

Absolutely Amazing! We are so humbled by everyone's generosity. If you have wondered why we are still collecting donations despite being past our goal, I'd like to fill you in. We don't know exactly what to expect from James' procedures or insurance company. There will likely be many surgeries over the coming years and we have been told that the costs could easily exceed or double our initial goal. I would feel more comfortable with a cushion, then having to scramble for more later. We thank you for every penny, it really will change someone's life.

Great work by everyone involved. We are excited to dedicate part of our show tonight about James and the efforts you are doing to help him. James has been a big part of the racing community here in the Northwest. Tonight we'll have Budah and Chuck Egner on talking and sharing stories of James. North Sound Racing on 1380AM ESPN Radio or via the web at www.NorthSoundRacing.com. We hope we can help by getting the message out there, and the donations coming in.

Don't stop now folks. Keep those donations rolling in because the uncertainty of medical costs today always fool us in the end, and we wind up with a final bill 3 times what what was expected. 3 months ago my son's wife had her 2nd baby with an expected $3000 outlay, then complications, and the bills rolled in even through last week. Almost $10,000 at this time. Let us do it right and provide sufficient money to meet all contingencies for James. God knows he deserves it.

In terms of my donation, if anything is left after the surgeries are finished then it is James to do with as he wishes. Somehow I managed to come across a link to the fundraiser and I live in New Zealand. Hope he enjoys his summer first before embarking on what I imagine will be quite a long journey...
