James Going Home!

James is scheduled to go home today! He is feeling great and looks fantastic. The huge bulk of tumor that USED to hang down from his face is gone! As soon as he woke up from surgery he felt his face and said, "I have a nose!"

Watch his story here.

Yahoo and Hallelujah...James..we are awaiting your return and a phone call from Katie to Sylvia so we can begin our mission to help you heal. Please let Sylvia know what you are going to be able to eat and what to bring and when to bring it. I have a gazillion people standing by to make this happen and without completion, we will be bereft. I am so thankful that you are going home and can't wait to see you there. we all send our love, but I will be selfish and send more of mine...What a silly girl, but how happy I am to know that you will be home and on the mend. Oh, frabjous day, Callooh, Callay...we chortle in our JOY.

I was visiting Vancouver with my boyfriend this past weekend and saw the news story about James's surgery. What a wonderful and kind person he is. I was so amazed by his uplifting spirit and healthy attitude about his life. I'd love to send along a card! Is he still in need of any financial help with his surgeries? Please let me know!

Hi Jimmy,

This is Barb (Board) DeBarrows. I was in your sister Karen's class in school and we rode the same bus to and from school.

I live in San Diego now, but my mom, Diana Board, has been keeping me posted on your stories and your progress. I was so happy to hear that you were able to have your surgery and that everything is going well. I have watched your videoclips on the internet.

You are an amazing man and a wonderful person. I remember that you always made me smile! The best of luck to you, and God Bless You, Jimmy!

Sincerely,
Barb

Katie,
Just wanted to again thank you and let you know that I am so happy with all you have done for my brother. He was in great spirits when I went over last Saturday and made dinner for him. I would like to get with you and exchange pictures from his last day in the hospital. He is so remarkable, but I have always known that. He has a special way to touch your heart. Now that the stitches are out he is on the road to recovery even more. Take care!

I think the only one happier could be his sweet little dog waiting for Dad to take him for his first walk, post surgery! Cheers James and friends. :)
